I hope someone can help. I've tried many different approaches (different versions of MacOS installer, boot from different USB devices, boot from HD) and the install always gets stuck at the same point:
AAPL: #[EB|LOG:EXITBS:START] 2023-11-10T15:58:02
My machine is:
Dell 7410. i7-10810U (Comet lake)
16GB
intel AX201 wifi
500GB Samsung 970 Evo Pro (with updated firmware)
Realtek ALC3254
I have disabled secure boot in the BIOS, unlocked the BIOS, and disabled lots of different combinations of peripherals/features. The install always fails at the same point.
The log errors don't mean anything to me, I had my config checked by a number of experts, and don't know what else to try. I saw a post on another forum where a user said they installed Big Sur but with Dell Bios 1.5.2. I'm on 1.24.0 but Dell doesn't allow a downgrade, so I can't try that path.
My config is attached, along with a typical opencore log file. If anyone can help, it would be fantastic.
