I recently managed to install Catalina (and then upgraded to Big Sur) on a pair of aging HP 800's (g1). I felt quite happy that I had achieved something, however, I also own a Dell 3891 with a 10th gen i5 processor and I am stuffed if I can get it to install.

Has anyone else had any success with the budget beast of a machine?

I know how to use the guide. I got two systems working using it. Guide or no guide I simply cannot get opencore even past the initial bootloader.

Attach your EFI to check.

Also, include your BIOS Settings.

the bios settings are default for the 3891

attached the EFI as a zip folder
