Hi admin, I've got fully functional macOS thanks to you. However, I've faced a situation where the battery drain really fast. For comparison, On windows, it can last up till 3hrs to 4hrs straight for continuous work usage such as surfing and typing and YouTubing. On macOS Ventura 13.7, It barely last for an hour just for using pdf/word and so ever. I also acknowledge that I've never replace a new battery and this old battery were already 4yrs old. So the solution is replacing new battery or any other software solution? Any ideas? Thank you admin.... I've attached my efi for reference

Could it be possible that some background process is eating up the battery?

Does the Laptop CPU frequency changes as per the workload?

If the apps running on background, I'm only allowing rectangle app. As for the 2nd question, you mean this Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 2.42.25 AM.png
yes, it changes as per workload

No, talking about the frequency. You can check using Power Gadget or iStats Menu.

Also, it could be possible that some background task/app is eating the battery. So check via Activity Monitor!
