if the build is on Sonoma, and GPU is 6800XT, is WhateverGreen.kext and gdpmod=pikera boot-arg still needed. or should it be natively supported now? i9-12900k, Asus 790

On an Asus z790 Tuf WiFi D4 it's supported with native hardware out of the box. No Fenvi, or Apple Wifi/BT card needed. You just have to make a USBMap.Kext - then add 3 kext files to EFI kext folder.

Writing to say I just had success with an Asus TUF Z790 | i9 12900k | OpenCore. as an introduction, I won't go into too many details about the build. Will post in UserBuilds section .. if there's any interest at a later time. Thank You All for Having me. and thanks to the people who post here...
