Only with the Whiskey Lake ID. Mojave will boot QE/CI with with any device-ID I throw at it, WKL/KBL/SKL ID's no problem whatsoever (Just need to add ig-platform for KBL/SKL). While Catalina will not boot with any ID ... complete opposites of each other :rolleyes: Will report back.

The Pink screen is in MOJAVE - I can easily fix it. Honestly there is just too much unnecessary laptop junk in that plist. I have narrowed down the issue to this: IF ANY valid device-id is used Catalina will freeze at the exact same point. I have tried booting with ID's for Whiskeylake...

Oh and for what its worth, the new up-to-scratch "clean" config will not allow Mojave to boot correctly without some modification. E.g. platform ID was incorrect (091b0000 instead of 09160000), if frame buffer is enabled it boots to a pink hue, boot flag issues and a few other things that I'm...

Sorry about that, Video is public now Kext Cache output attached. The Coffeelake Platform ID that also works fine in Mojave is: 0x3EA50004 (shows as Iris Plus 655)
