No, unfortunately I don't own any other Thunderbolt devices. What i'm looking to accomplish is be able to power on/off my audio interface (it gets quite hot if left on for long periods of time) without having to restart the machine.
Any other suggestions to test or try?

I have removed SSDT-TB3-OTHER. It has not affected the use of Thunderbolt but hotplug is still not working.
Can you elaborate on what is wrong with the config?
